FORMED
The Catholic Faith on Demand – FORMED.ORG
Parishioners and Ministry Groups are discovering hundreds of Catholic video programs, movies, audios and e-books at www.formed.org. While FORMED.ORG is not a ministry per se, it certainly is an incredible resource to our parish, being used by ministries, individuals and by families in "growing" our faith!
Select "Sign-Up as a Parishioner" Follow the instructions to create a new account. No password needed; If already registered, click on "Sign-In" If new, click on "Sign-up" and search for Holy Child Parish. (Do not sign up as an individual as our Parish has a membership)
Online Tithing is Now Available!
Holy Child is pleased to introduce GivePlus by Vanco, a simpler way to make online donations to the parish and the school. This service allows you to make one-time donations as well as set up recurring payments. Tithing and donations can now be done securely from your desktop computer, tablet or smartphone. For those who have an active account with My eOffering there is no urgency to make the switch, although we encourage it.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul
Items our parishioners gave included furniture, household goods, food, clothing and so much more. SVdP especially wish to thank the APT Family Charitable Fund for their generous donation, members who provided Communion to the homebound, delivered food, and so many many times helped us with your time and prayers. Our SVdP youth for the wonderful letters, cards and bags for the VA hospital. SVdP will still help our homeless with things like shampoo, soaps, etc. that many collect on their vacations from hotel & motels. They are much appreciated. If you have any of these items to donate or if you know of someone in need of help contact the Parish office.
Rebuild My Church Capital Campaign
Since 2008, Holy Child School has served as the only Catholic Classical school in New Mexico and the only Catholic school in the East Mountain community. The Lord has blessed our mission to form hearts and minds in the study of the good, the true, and the beautiful. Enrollment has grown 30% in the past five years, and with the current 87 students, the school is bursting at the seams. For our parish school to accommodate more families who desire an authentic Catholic education for their children, the need for physical space is crucial.
A new school facility will:
- Accommodate the increasing enrollment numbers
- Allow mixed grade classes to develop into single grade classes
- Provide a science room and space for the expanding Suzuki strings and Latin programs
- Free up space in Blessed Miguel Pro Hall for parish ministries/adult education
As a member of Holy Child Parish, your support in this campaign is of great importance. Everyone is needed. Please pray and seek the Lord's guidance on what your personal sacrifice should be for your three-year commitment. Supporters of the new building will have an impact on future generations of Catholics in the East Mountains. |
